How To Check-in

Snip-its accepts same-day bookings only. Our online check-in lets you add your kiddo’s name to same day waitlist. We even allow you to select a time slot that works for your schedule. 

 

Step 1

Go to Snipits.com on the day you want a service and choose the location nearest you. Click the yellow "Check-in Online" button.

Step 2

Once you are redirected to the Snip-its salon you want to visit, click the "BOOK NOW" button. PRO TIP: You can book starting at midnight each day the salon is open!

Step 3

Check-in using the mobile phone number tied to your Snip-its account (NEW CUSTOMERS: Enter a mobile phone number to start a new child sign up)

Step 4

Select the name(s) of the kiddos getting a haircut today and PROCEED

Step 5

Select a service first, then choose a preferred stylist (if that option is available).

Step 6

Now you can add yourself to our first available time slot OR choose a time slot for later in the day. Note: Future dates and times are not available.

Step 7

Once you have selected your time slot for the day, click the purple CONFIRM button at the bottom and look for a text message to confirm your booking.

Frequently Asked Questions

No. We do not take traditional appointments. Our online check-in lets you add your kiddo’s name to our daily waitlist for first available OR you can select a preferred time slot for later in the day if you prefer.

Salons open their waitlist before the doors open. Visit your salon’s microsite to see when the online check-in list opens. Most open at least an hour before opening, while some locations start at midnight!

Your time slot is an estimated start time. We all know kids can be unpredictable, so it’s possible you might have to wait for the customer ahead of you to finish up before your service begins.

After you enter your cellphone number while starting the check-in process, select all the children under your profile who need need to be booked for service. NOTE: If you need to add children who aren’t listed, you can do so on the next screen by clicking the “add child” button in the top left-hand corner.

You will then see all of the kiddos you’ve selected in the top corner of the next screen and can select the services you want and time slots for each child by clicking the purple NEXT button in the bottom right. When you are done, click the purple CONFIRM button to complete your check-in.

You will get a separate text confirmation for each child you booked service for. Please look at the start times for each child carefully. These start times may vary from what you selected depending on how many stylists are working, time slots that filled by other people while you were booking, and if you requested a specific stylist. 

We recommend you arrive at the salon 5-10 minutes before your estimated start time. 

Kids happen, we get it! If you’re running late, simply reply to the confirmation text to let us know. We’ll do our best to adjust your time slot. If you can’t make it or will be more than 15 minutes late, text “NO” to be removed from today’s waitlist and try again on another day. If you are not at the salon for your designated time slot, we do reserve the right to start the next person in line and/or remove you from the list.

We do offer advanced booking for specific services, such as party styles/up-dos, spa services, longer specialty braiding, or to accommodate children with sensory sensitivities. Please contact the salon for a consultation and to schedule an appointment for these services.

Many locations allow you to request a specific stylist from a list of stylists working today. This appears once the main service is selected, directly above the list of add-ons. If it doesn’t appear, your salon does not let you select a stylist or there is only one stylist working today.

Online check-in closes once all the time slots are filled. If you see a message that says, “stylists are currently unavailable,” that means we are full for the day. If you see this message early in the day, we encourage you to check back to see if time slots have reopened due to cancellations or no shows.
