Hair Care Products for Kids

Snip-its hair care products are designed with kids in mind. They are naturally based, using plant-derived irritant and allergen-free ingredients in fun fragrances. The entire line of 3 shampoos, 3 conditioners and 7 styling products are formulated to be gentle on kids’ sensitive skin, hair, and eyes.

But it’s fun in here; so, we also wanted to share some outside the box, alternative uses for our Snip-its hair care line. Snip-its hair care is salon-quality and kid-friendly, but there’s also something for the entire family.

Swimmer’s Solution Clarifying Shampoo – Safe enough for every day, but also perfect to remove more than chlorine: it also removes hard water, styling product and medicine residue from the hair. Plus, mom can use Swimmer’s Solution the day before a color service to remove any product buildup and to help even out the hair’s porosity so the color takes more evenly.

Tangle Buster Detangling Shampoo – Sulfate-free shampoo, like our Tangle Buster, foam less and also won’t react to the pH in your baby’s tears. Parent Hack: use a tab of shampoo to help zippers get unstuck quickly and easily.

No Yellin’ Melon Crème Conditioner – Any conditioner is also a good shaving cream for Mom. Stop those knee nicks whilst shaving. It softens the hairs so they’re easier to cut and gives good “slip” for your blades to glide over. We like No Yellin’ Melon because it’s lightweight and has a fresh melon scent.

Silky Smooth Daily Conditioner – Parent Hack: remove those stuck-on Band-Aids with ease and the sticky residue they leave behind. The soothing aloe found in our Silky Smooth Daily Conditioner will put a smile on your kiddo’s face when you ouch less-ly remove those stubborn Band-Aids.

Tangle Tamer Detangling Spray – Use our detangling spray during styling to keep your strands smooth and nourished. Great for moms, dads and all the kids. Parent Hack: Spray some onto gum stuck in hair to help with removal. Tangle Tamer works brilliantly because the hairs start sliding away from the gum strand by strand.

Morning Miracle Mousse Styling Spray – Get your volume Rx here.

A tiny little bit of Snip-its Morning Miracle works great for blow-drying for volume into limp, lifeless tresses.

Sparkle Spritz Shining Mist – Parent Hack: Snip-its Sparkle Spritz can be massaged onto the scalp to remove cradle cap. Leave it on for about 15 minutes and then gently comb out the flakes with a fine-tooth comb or brush them out with a soft brush.

Funky Spiker Super Hold Styling Gel – Trend Alert: Get that tousled, messy look with ease. Snip-its Funky Spiker is all you need.  Just a little bit goes a long way when going for this style. Don’t use a hair dryer with gel unless you are looking for the stiffer, pompadour coiffure.

Amazin’ Spray & Stay Hairspray – Smoothing Tip: spray Snip-its Amazin’ Spray & Play directly onto your hands and then apply it with your fingers, or entire palm, before smoothing back hair. Take the bottle and roll it along the hairline to help suppress the baby hair wisps and flyaways. Moms can also use it as an eyebrow gel Just spray onto a brow brush—or old toothbrush—and define those brows.

Wacky Wax – Parenting Hack: Use Snip-its Wacky Wax when braiding your little one’s hair. It gives slippery, fine hair some grip so it’s perfect for braiding and other up-dos. Works great for keeping ponytails, pigtails and top knots from slipping out of their binder too. Wax can also be used to add shine to your hair if applied lightly and evenly; it won’t dull the blonde out of your fair-haired kiddos.
