At Snip-its, Hair Salon Managers enjoy working with a variety of adorable children, delivering magic through memorable first haircut experiences, and managing a fun and highly skilled salon staff.
SALON MANAGER JOB ROLE:
In addition to cutting hair, you’ll lead and inspire our talented hairstyling staff, oversee day-to-day operations, and serve as the primary point of contact for customer service excellence. Your responsibilities include managing cash and inventory, helping train new employees, and clearly communicating goals and procedures to the team. You’ll play a key role in creating a fun, supportive, and collaborative environment where both employees and clients feel valued. - Competitive starting base pay based on experience: $21-$25 / hr
- Tips averaging $1400+ / month

HAIR SALON MANAGER REQUIREMENTS:
- A current TX cosmetology license
- A commitment to working some weekend days each month
- An enthusiastic, patient, and outgoing personality
- A love of children and desire to make these little ones (and parents) feel special
- Ability to effectively attract, hire, train, and manage salon staff
- Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills
- A willingness to proactively recommend and sell products and add-ons
- A dedication to learning the latest trends in children’s hair care
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage customer expectations, and maintain a positive salon staff environment
