St. Jude cares for some of the world’s sickest children regardless of their race, ethnicity, beliefs, or ability to pay. Our patients receive the customized care they need to treat childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases, no matter what barriers they may face.
When St. Jude opened in 1962, childhood cancer was considered incurable. Since then, St. Jude has helped push the overall survival rate from 20% to more than 80%. In many developing countries, however, only 1 out of 5 children diagnosed with cancer will survive. We won’t stop until no child dies from cancer, no matter where they live.

Every September, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital® leads the conversation during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month in order to amplify the mission of St. Jude – finding cures, saving children. ®

HOW TO ADD-ON A DONATION AT SNIP-ITS:
Our donation campaign runs from July – September 2023. During that time, you can visit any Snip-its Haircuts for Kids and add-on a donation to your haircut, service or purchase. You may see different ways to donate in the salon including but not limited to:
- At the pin pad or manually during the checkout process
- QR-codes on St. Jude displays and flyers throughout the salon
- Quick donate add-on of $1 during the online check-in process in the add-on service menu.
- Social media posts, customer emails and the website pages – no purchase necessary to donate to this worthy cause when you use the QR-code or go to stjude.org/snipits
